Katie OlsenPhysician Assistant
Katie joined Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in the summer of 2023. She currently serves as physician assistant to Dr. Scott Sporer, specializing in adult hip and knee replacement and reconstruction. Her main responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, seeing patients in clinic and rounding on inpatients.
She grew up in both California and overseas in the Philippines. She attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA before moving out to Chicago and completing her Physician Assistant degree at Midwestern University. As a student, she spent time in orthopedics, emergency medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and cardiac surgery.
